Review for Country Meadows Apartments

When I first moved into the place I thought that it was a nice place to live and maybe, maybe start a family....but then when I started to hear about the things that were going on in the "community" then I wanted to move out ASAP. The first manager was always there I will give her that but when I was told by many people that they were told by her to make the rent checks out to her and not to the company I was wondering what I had gotten myself into. I mean I did not know who to blame....the manager or the residents! If anyone is stupid enough to give some one $500 on there word that it would be going towards rent then they need to be ripped off......YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE IT OUT TO THE COMPANY NOT HER!!!! So I only blame you, she was just smart.....take the money.....but she got caught, that is the only fault that she had....lol. The maintance man that they had at that time did nothing. If by chance he did come and do anything he would hang out like he was your friend ask for smokes and drinks and act like you were a best friend or something....I did not feel safe being in the house when he was there. At that time I did not know very many people and I wish that I would have kept it that way. The management changed just like the seasons. And the next persons to come in where nice but never there due to the fact that they ran another property in Junction City. Have you seen that place? I am glad that they left I was afraid that my "home" was going to look like that dump......with the trash that lived in and out of it. Then they got a new maintance man and he was by far the best man that I could ever ask for in a maintance man. He always was timely with coming and fixing the things that I needed fixed and was always polite and friendly when he came into my house and never did anything to make me feel as if I needed to have anyone else in the house with me when I was there. The new management that came in with him was always there when I needed something and even helped with taking time out of their personal life to meet with me when it was convenient for myself no matter what they had to do, or the time. He was always in the office after hours doing work, and on the weekends also. He was always out on the property talking with the residents and even helping them move out or in. What property manager do you know that would even take the time to stop what ever was going on in his or her life to help you in a real time of need? I dont know of any......The parents would always complain about childeren unatended around the complex and yet they would never waych their own childeren. And sitting outside on the porch and letting the run around is NOT watching them. You can NOT see them all of the time so get off your *** and attend to your childeren! I had on many occasions almost seen little one be hit by cars. Throwing toys and other hard objects at cars and other childeren. People making rumers that they were sleeping with other people. Drug dealers and users living there for free because they were broke and yet they had money to set up suvainance. And having enough money to get the "fix" that they need. That or they just slept with whom ever to get it.......Then once things were lookin as if they were getting better, once again the managment changed and I was really dissapointed to see them leave. They were the best. When the new people came things changed. They were and are never in the office. They would take long lunches together......and you could see them coming out of one anothers houses, holding hands and looking very comfy. When I would go into the office to get some help with something they were never there.....the only person that I could find was that excellent maintance man. And then he was accused of doing something that there is no way that he could have done. I know for a fact that he could not have done. Then they kicked him and his wonderful family out around the holidays. And they had just had a baby not too long before that. What type of people would do that? But they will let drug dealers and junkies live there. So for you and your families sake DO NOT live here, and if you already do GET OUT! The people that live there now are nothing but trouble. And the ones that are good people are so few and far between. And I hope that they get out soon. I am very happy that I have left that h*** hole. And I hope that you never live here and if you do I am so so sorry and I hope that you get out soon.
