Apartment Reviews for Pinegate - Merriam

I have been rented several apartments and by far I like this the best! Very convenient location: right by I-35 and Shawnee Mission Parkway, 10~15 minutes to downtown KC (I worked in downtown, not too much traffic I would encounter on my way to work or back from work, take the most 20 minutes, except 4:45pm~6pm weekdays), also 10~15 minutes to the Plaza, the Legends, and Oak Park Mall, 30 minutes to MCI, 35 minutes to Lawrence. There are also many restaurants and stores around. Although it sounds like the neighborhood is noisy and rowdy, the complex is on the side street and not directly on the main road so it s relatively quiet and safe actually. I live in the one-bedroom apartment and I don t know how to describe how great I feel that I have an in-unit washer-dryer, a huge walk-in closet, a huge storage, and a garage! Large bathroom even for one-bedroom apartment. There is no apartment above or below my apartment, so the noise is minimal. The apartment complex is 20+years old, so of course there are some worn-outs and damages, but the maintenance staff are generally nice and helpful and relatively fast in response. The office staff are nice, too! Although the price might be a bit above the average, but I feel it worths! I lived there for a year and I had to move because of job relocation. I sincerely miss this place while I am staying in my current "apartment"...Definitely recommend especially if you want quality living before you decide to buy/rent a house
