Luxury College Living Redfined???

Luxury College Living Redifined is the slogan of Newtown Crossing. Newtown does have its positives. It is close to UK's Campus, and each bedroom has its own private bath. The list ends there. The management, both past and present, is in shambles and a mess. Always, Always keep the receipt that they give you when paying your rent as they will repeatedly send you invoices for not paying rent. The units were built at bottom dollar price and that is obvious throughout the property. Walls are paper thin, and the slightest noises from neighbors can be heard. Crime is one of the largest problems and break-in's and sexual assualts happen often. These are usually covered bt the local news, the police will hang out in the parking lot for a few days, then things go back to normal. (NEVER WALK ALONE AT ANY TIME OF DAY!!!) The extras offered like the 24 hour gym is infested as the machines are NEVER cleaned nor is the Tanning beds. (I know people that have developed rash's from these.) The resort style pool is full of people who dont live at Newtown, Nor do they know anyone who lives there, so no chairs are available. When taking this issue to the management they respond by saying, "we cant control this issue, so you should get there early in the morning." My best advice is to find someone that you know has lived there or is living there now." even ask the office what the occupancy rate is. I believe you will find that number to be low. Most places are at around 98%. Anything below 95% should tell you something about the quality of life there. Last I heard Newtown was something like 82% for 2007-2008 school year, which is awful. Newtown should change its slogan to Overpriced and overrated!!
