There were a couple of occasions that the globe safety lights in the outside "hallway" were smashed by someone. Broken glass was scattered everywhere for over a week. I had to sweep it up myself even after I (and I was told someone else) had called to inform them of the problem. I had to step on broken glass to get into my apartment. Also, the hall was not lit for that week long period.
There was a terrible termite problem that took them three weeks to treat. We literally had termites pouring into our bedroom and were so thick all over the floor that the only way to get them all was to vacuum them all up. We eventually had to put plastic around our windows (where we noticed them coming in) because it took them so long to decide to have it treated. No telling what kind of condition the wood structure is in now.
The gym of this apartment leaves a lot to be desired. There are only two treadmills and two stairsteppers and there are always people using them. It is not uncommon to have to wait for some time before you can get on a machine. When you do finally get a machine, they may or may not be working properly and are almost always covered in sweat sprinkles from the person before.
There is constantly dog poop all over the grass. We even had dogs come right up to where our window and porch were and poop right in front of them. This happened even when owners were present with them. Also, be forwarned that dogs are constantly off of their leashes and there have been several dog fights right outside our window. We also had problems with dogs off leashes running over to our dog (who was on a leash) and we quickly had to scoop him up and get inside to avoid a problem.
Then, when we moved out, we were given incorrect information and were led to believe that we were getting our deposits when they were sure to screw us out of them. Be sure you know that no matter what they tell you, you will not get your deposit back when you leave. They will find a way to screw you out of them. (And they are no joke)
I strongly recommend that you look anywhere else than Canter Chase for a place to live. The rent is unbelievably high as are the deposits and pet rent and as you can see it's not an ideal place to live.
