Bed Bug Heaven

DO NOT MOVE IN TO CEDAR PARK! Unless of course you enjoy sharing your home with a variety of insects, including Bed Bugs, Cockroaches, and Ants. As well as black mold. The motto for this complex should be either Bed Bug Heaven or Why Fix It When You Can Cover It Up. Leaking pipes and broken wires are not repaired they are simply covered up and forgotten about. Air conditioning, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and working appliances are not a necessity. If your detectors go off, don t bother contacting the property manager, she ll simply tell you to remove the batteries. This has nearly cost one family their lives already.

She is about as worthless as they come. Moving in illegal s and increasing their rent to pocket the difference. At Cedar Park, safety is not an issue. You re unsafe whether you leave your apartment or not. By all means, move in if you love living with a vast array of criminals, illegal s, and drug addicts. Children run loose in the streets. Toddlers to young adults can be seen loitering & drinking in the streets and parking lots at all hours. Without parental supervision. Block parties are occurring daily. Every night, Little Mexico comes alive! Do not be alarmed if you find a drunk Hispanic passed out on your doorstep in the middle of the day. He s just taking a siesta. The health board is here on a regular basis.

Not to mention the completely incompetent property manager. She rarely shows up to work on time and closes the office whenever she feels like it. Surprisingly with the way she runs the complex she continues to get as chummy with the local law enforcement as possible. The blame will never go to her for anything done incorrectly, she just passes it off to other employees. In order to make your Cedar Park experience more enjoyable, simply send in any male to spend some one on one time with her and you will be all set. Please do not contact her with any maintenance tasks, her response is always the same, fix it yourself. If she doesn t like someone, you can bet she ll do anything to kick you out. Including staging a break in on her own home and trying to pin it on you. I ve witnessed it. Or she ll resort to her over used, he sexually harassed me. Her apartment is the most well kept of the group. If anything goes wrong she has maintenance fix it immediately. She was without AC once for almost an hour, while several of us, including myself were without it for over a month.

I wont go in to detail, but the owner is just as bad. She believes everything her tells her no matter what. Do not even attempt to speak with her. She will not waste her time with tenants. Probably because she knows that they all hate her. The words slum lord define her to a T.

Bills are never paid. So if you find yourself without hot water do not be alarmed. It happens often. Landscaping is terrible. They assume that these men will do it for free. The office phones even get shut off because; why spend money on a complex when you can spend it on yourself instead' Evictions are done illegally. The property manager simply changes the locks while your at work and she takes what ever of your belonging that she likes.

Don t get me wrong, there are a few people that work there that are actually worth a darn. The new girl (The new girl) for instance. She s the newest of the bunch and works a million times harder than the property manager. She s is trying to clean the place up and does the job right. You can see her often walking through the complex picking up garbage and cleaning hallways. If they hired more people like her, this place would be in great shape.

Then there s the maintenance staff. The thief was just let go. To the property managers dismay. He was an annoying man who bragged that he had access to everyone s apartments. (Boy, that made me feel safe.) The two maintenance technicians worth their butts of, but the problems still remain. It s difficult to do their jobs with zero materials to work with and a nagging boss. If they don t get back to you when you call the maintenance hotline don t blame them. The pager bill probably hasn t been paid. Although they may at times seem like they don t care, that s not true. The problem is, they have so much work to do and are constantly being pulled off of one project to start on another. With 236 units and two maintenance men how on earth could they be expected to get everything done'

The Solution:
Remove Property manager
Get New Owners
Hire More People Like The new girl
Bring Back The Other Two Maintenance Men

If someone else were to buy this property, pay off all of the debt, invest at least 1.5 million dollars into updating and remodeling; hire at least three more maintenance men, landscapers, a cleaning person and one or two more office staff, I guarantee that this complex could be the best in the area.
