Apartment Reviews for Sherwood Acres Apartments I And I I - Baton Rouge

I lived there for a year and half. Horribly managed, moldy and run down buildings. Maintenance is even worse than management. Every month you get a new letter of an alleged robbery, rape, or assault that occured in the complex. Scary and unsafe place to live.

I'm on my 4th year here. Things have gone down hill since I've moved in. Maintenance is timely but things get patched and not completely repaired so you end up calling back several times. Lots of loitering. I've seen what I suspect may be drug deals going down in a few locations in the complex. The apartments themselves are supernice for the price. 700+ sq feet in the 1 bedrooms. Unfortunately multiple units in the complex have the same apartment # (just different street addresses) so you end up getting mail in the wrong boxes and notices placed on the wrong doors. Could take it or leave it. It's still a good price compared to what else is out there, but I don't recomment it if you can afford something better. :)
