A couple of hiccups...

While it's true that the manager isn't always in the office, if you leave a message, she is pretty good at getting back to you. A couple of hiccups were encountered when first getting in, but now that the move is complete, things are going much more smoothly. The complex is kept clean, and tenant safety is a priority with management.

This review was not written by the tenant who is actually living here, but by my mom, who had to hear me (the tenant) freak out and complain because I was feeling overwhelmed by the move. The real dish is that yes, management isn't always in the office, and yes, there was a mix up in the original apartment that I was supposed to rent. But if you leave a message, the manager DOES get back to you, and if there's a real problem, she will do everything in her power to fix it. Since moving in, it's been nothing but smooth sailing, and was worth every hiccup along the way.
***Good things about the complex that these reviews don't mention:
*they have a kiddie pool right next to the adult pool, and they are always clean!
*management lives on-site and they really care about the safety and comfort of their tenants.
*the complex grounds are always kept clean.
*maintainance is prompt.
*rent includes basic cable.
*if you renew your lease, you are locked in at your rental rate. No rate hikes.
*this IS the most reasonably priced professionally managed complex that you will find in Lafayette.
I look forward to staying for a long while.
