Review for 1901 West Apartments

The apartment complex looks really nice and has several good amenities. Most units experience similar problems such as the kitchen faucet breaking, not all outlets working, etc. A maintenance guy was recently fired due to being to open about problems people are experiencing. The 24-hour maintenance guarantee is a joke; even with a gas leak it takes a week.

There is a mold infestation in one of the buildings. The property manager was informed a few weeks ago about mold growing in my unit and nothing has been done about it. When it rains, water collects in the hallways due to the floor not being leveled and splashguards near the gates and leaks into apartment units.

I believe the current property manager was not fully aware of all the issues that existed. However, she needs to step up to the plate and make sure things get resolved. I did hear her complain to an IT service rep about their key fob database crashing. The guy seemed to get it fixed and train the leasing staff to operate it correctly. I am disappointed the staff did not go through resident files to get key fob serial numbers to re-enter into the system. They wait for tenants to go to the office and report their fob does not work.

I have lived at a Bozzuto property before and had a great experience. Bozzuto only manages this one and I think the owners somewhat constrain Bozzuto.
