I lived here for 2 years from 2002-2004. I had 2 dogs, and it was very pet friendly, although with a massive colony of feral cats on the property. The apartment had a good amount of space, but was in need of updating, although everything in it was workable and fine. I could hear my upstairs neighbors' every step, and although many residents were very nice, I had some odd neighbors who just spent their time watching me come and go and being so unfriendly it made me really on edge. Management was helpful but changed a number of times, so they didn't really know you, but the maintenence guys were outstanding and had been there a long time. While I lived there Westwinds did some "updating" to the property, including fencing the whole complex and restructuring the parking area, which made the parking MORE difficult, and the fence unsightly and a major waste of money. The rent there when I was there was very reasonable but it's gone up so much now that I wouldn't view the complex as worth what they are asking now.
