Apartment Reviews for Camden Court Apartments - Baltimore

Overall we've been happy living at Camden Court apartments. The office and maintenance staff are great, but there are a few things I would caution any prospective tenants about.

The first and is the sky-high electric bills. We're rarely home and keep our thermostat at the recommended settings but have continually had huge electric bills. It's not just BGE, it's definitely something to do with the heating and cooling system of these apartments. We typically pay $300/mo in the winter months which is more than our friends who own 3-story houses here in Baltimore. It's CRAZY!!! If we knew we'd be in Baltimore much longer, we'd move from this building simply for that reason.

Second, the garage gets broken into all the time. To the management's credit, they've put up additional video surveillance cameras, but they don't seem to help. This winter we probably had at least 5 incidents where someone broke in and vandalized multiple cars.

Finally, it's not in a particularly nice neighborhood. Unless you want to be close to the stadiums or work in the immediate area, I'd consider looking elsewhere.
