Communication is key

Althought there have been things wrong about this place I have had no problems getting things fixed here. Of course things break, wear out, etc., but I have always written a note to Joan the manager and it gets done. The A/C heat pump unit was a recurring problem but it was replaced after the third complaint. The first complaint was last September.. I had to run the emergency heat setting to keep it above 68. The BGE electric bill has averaged about $110, much more than it should be for a 2 bedroom. The mold is back (smelly air in vents), and so I'm spraying lysol hoping that it will go away. Carpet was not fully clean when I moved in, and smelled like cat urine in a corner of the master bedroom. I complained, they responded by cleaning it again but still didn't fix the problem. After about six months the smell went away but can still be smelled up close.
Seriously though, the maintenance team has done a great job fixing everything when directed to do so by mgmt. All it takes is communication! Grounds are nice, but lot is dim at night. The swimming pool is small and only 5' deep at the deep end.
