Review for Arborview At Riverside Apartments

While these apartments look very nice inside and out, there are some major problems. First and foremost is the staff. Besides the maintenance staff, the actual rental office staff are some of the nastiest people I've ever dealt with. They are, as another review said, very unforgiving. On more than a half dozen times, I've received notices on my door for this or that and it's given me until the end of that day to comply. Most people get home after 5pm so when you get something on your door and the rental office is already closed, it's kind of hard to meet the deadline. We had a pipe burst in our first apartment there. Maintenance was very slow in responding. I lost approximately $1,000 in damage to my personal stuff. Staff had no care in the world.

As far as the noise, that's the major problem. It all really depends on your neighbors. I lived below a terrible neighbor for two years. You can hear everything... kids, dogs, elliptical machines, other appliances. I currently live in one of the 1BR apartments. It has been upgraded so it looks very nice but the walls and floors are paper thin. I can hear the neighbors beside me do EVERYTHING. Nothing like settling down for the night and hearing the neighbor take a leak as if it's in YOUR bathroom.

Parking is also a joke. For about 10 months, the car port overhangs they had installed were damaged so no one could park under these overhangs. That meant that probably 1/3 of the parking lots spaces were unusable. I understand taking the precautions but it shouldn't take so long to tear them down and get the parking back to normal.

I would never recommend this apartment to another person... I can't wait until I can finally move out. It's way too expensive for what the community provides and the terrible staff just makes it harder to pay the rent knowing it goes to people like that.
