Apartment Reviews for Sherwood Crossing Apartments
Seems like a nice place, but thats about it
Make sure you think about moving here before you do. When I moved in the place looked nice, and thats about it. If for some reason you REALLY want to move here, make sure you have them clean it thoroughly. My unit had its A/C unit filthy with years of dust build-up and what looked like mold. There was a collection of dirty laundry behind the really small washer and dryer. Yep, get use to doing quarter loads as the washer and dryer are tiny.
The walls are thin so you hear your neigbors and if you live in the first or second floor you always know where your upstairs neighbors are at. Its annoying!!!
Dont be fooled by the facilities. The pool is small and when it is opened there are kids running around. The gym or what they call a gym is horrible. All the equipment is old and broken. They keep making promises that they are getting a new one but still no sign of that anywhere in the near future.
If you want a parking spot near your apartment then be ready to pay extra for a covered parking.
Phone reception is horrible inside the units. You may have to go outside to use your cell or you can get a house phone.
Be warned, I have had deliveries stolen. Do not let any carrier leave your deliveries at the front door of your apartment. There are plenty of theives around.
Dont bother with the "upgraded units" the place is already overpriced.
They do have "Low income housing units" and they will price you the units based on your income.
The only thing that might be good about the place.... hmm well yea I guess nothing is good about the place. But it is close to serveral retail stores and restaurants if thats your thing.
But still... I am sure there are better places around.
