Apartment Review for Fieldpointe

If you want to know how safe a neighborhood is, contact the police for records of calls to that location. You will be shocked to learn that there has been a shooting in Fieldpointe Apts., multiple break ins, cars vandalized & broken into. I close friend of mine was walking home from the store when she reached Fieldpointe (her place of residence) she was attacked from behind, knocked to the ground, the only thing that saved her was she could scream & she kept screaming until the attackers ran. I have seen many drug deals go down in the parking lot across from my apt. which I lived in for 8 yrs. One evening a K9 car showed up with an officer & a drug sniffing dog. She made a few passes through a few areas of the community. That is an act of the part of the police of drug activity in the community. Don't be fooled by the appearance of the place. All the appliances are out dated, I had to call maintenance 3 times for a simple repair on both of our toilets running, I gave up & just let them run. I was in that apt. for 8 yrs. & had to twist arms for new carpet which they only recarpeted part of the apt. they left the bedrooms undone. Fieldpointe Apts. has recently changed hands & it seems the new owners only care that you pay your rent on time. By the way if you happen to break one of your window shades they will charge you $12 to replace it. You hear the constant hum of the interstates that run close by, worse in the winter when the leaves are off the trees. Unattended children playing in the streets, laying down on skate boards to the end of the entrance ways. If anyone hits one of those kids, I'm sure you will do time in lock up. Of course the office staff is going to be candy sweet to you, they want to keep their jobs. Don't be fooled, they are back stabbers except for one nice guy who drives the white truck. Oh by the way check with the Frederick Police or go online, there are 2 sexual preditors living within one block of Fieldpointe Apts. That freaks me out now because I would walk those very streets! Alone! Keep searching for a better place to live.
