Review for The Colonnade At Kentlands Apartments

Condo sales and condo rentals are managed separately - the rental managment is pretty crappy, although the folks in the sales office seem to have their act together. Cosmetically, the apartments are very nice, but the workmanship is low quality. The door frame to our patio is not square, so tons of air leaks around it. The sink is not flat in the island so anytime any water gets splashed it runs down across the whole island. The baseboards in the bathroom are about a quarter of an inch higher than the floor.

Also, they won't tell you when you go to rent, but you can only use the fitness center, clubhouse, etc., when the sales office is open (11 am to 6 pm) because they don't give the renters access cards - only owners get those.

Finally, the management office is awful about notifying residents when they accept packages for them. I had airline tickets that sat in the office for 5 days without hearing anything from them. Plus, they don't check anyone's names or anything when you go pick up the packages. I could pretty much just walk into the back room of the office and probably live with a bunch of people's stuff without anyone noticing, or saying boo to me.
