Review for Greenbelt Plaza Apartments

Resident manager is never around, does not answer phone calls, and believes that calling a repair man is a personal favor to the tenant - not a responsibility. We have had to call both the gas and the fire company to resolve emergency repair situations in the abscence of any competent manager - and we only moved in about four months ago.

There are roaches. There are electrical problems.

Our family lived without hot water in the bathroom for over six weeks and had to call the city code inspector to have the situation resolved. Resident manager told us that she was "not scared of the code inspector." Before that, we had to leave our home during the hottest week of the year because our air conditioner was broken for probably the 10th time. The floor came up in my son's bedroom as a result of flooding from said air conditioner. There is mold. We lived without a kitchen sink for two weeks when we first took occupancy because of an unresolved (human) hair clog.

Resident manager is beligerant, irrational, abusive, and retaliatory. And she has been here for over 10 years.

There is a condemed apartment at the bottom of the hill here that the fire department said they had to close because it kept flooding - once at a height of 4 ft - but the resident manager kept right on renting it to new people until the city stepped in.

Stay away. The neighbors are wonderful; the neighborhood is wonderful, but if you have any options, you might have to run away when your lease is up.
