Apartment Reviews for Tall Oaks
No longer what I was initially attracted to!

I was brought to this site because I am looking for a place to live after my lease is up with Tall Oaks this summer. Boy I wish I'd come here before moving in because I really don't feel like moving again after just one year. Granted, the rent is pretty affordable for the services and the size of the apartment, but it's not worth your peace of mind. Let's see, new neighbors moved in with ALL types of shenanigans going on, playing LOUD gangster rap music ALLLLLL day long on a Sunday (or any day) when most working people are looking to relax, yet in the morning you don't hear a peep when you are getting ready for work, can no longer enjoy the balcony because they are also out in the rear courtyard cussing, smoking, drinking and God knows what else, supposed to be in a pet-free building but another neighbor has a dog, can hear EVERYTHING through the walls, sex, snoring, fighting, sneezing you name it. The hallways are filthy with gross stained carpeting, and it always smells, so embarrassing. Was shown an entirely different building (the one the manager lives in) when I toured the property and on the day of my move in was promptly disgusted when I saw my building! It seems as though management does not have enough trash pick ups scheduled because at any given time riding through the property the dumpsters are overflowing and the nasty residents just throw their trash all over the ground, it's often like that for a couple days too. People hang out and drink on the steps even though everyone has either a patio or a balcony. Sorry I thought this was a nice community when I first moved in, but now I don't recommend it and can't wait to find something better. Yes the apartments are nicely renovated and very spacious but if you like peace of mind when you get home from a hard days work and are not interested in meeting the neighbors for drinks and hanging on the "stoop", then look elsewhere.
