Apartment Review for Tall Oaks

Gross. There are roaches everywhere. I think it is interesting that someone took down al the reviews. I lived here before Sawyer Realty (the new management company took over). When the apt were managed by Town and Country there was a security patrol in the parking lot every night. Now that Sawyer took over, I have not seen the patrol. As a result, the ghetto neighbors blare there stereos all night and hang out in the parking lot until the cops come. <P>
Under Town and Country there were roaches, but they had an exterminiator come every Friday without fail and it made the roach problem some what bearable. With Sawyer it took almost 2 months before an exterminator made it out to my apt. When I called to complain the apt managers were rude. <P>
Sawyer claims they had trouble finding an exterminator (ummm yeah try the Yellow Pages but they have plenty of time to send nasty notes to everyone telling them "To get their house in order and pay their water/rent on time or they will be evicted" If you are late on your rent they post a bright yellow sign on yoru front door and announce your business to everyone. Not that I feel that bad for the ghetto residents who don't pay their rent on time but I will be plenty mad if it was a mistake. <P>
Also the laundry room reeks of mildew, is also roach infested, and the washer leaks water every where. Not good when you are dealing with heavy duty electrical appliances but what do I know? <P>
Your electric and water bills are huge. I own a home and pay 100 in the winter. At this apt my BGe was 280 because of the big drafty windows that they do nothing about. My water bill for three months for a house with a yard is 40 dollars, my water at this apt was 25 every month because they are too cheap to pay for the sewer and actually meter the water usage. They just charge everyone the same whether your are a family of 10 living in a 3 bedroom apt (ie my upstairs neighbors) or a single person in a one bedroom apt. <P>
Oh and the model looks nothing like the apt you will be actually living in. Ask to see your actual apt before you hand over your money or you will be sorry. Come in the middle of the night and decide whether you want to live there. You will see plenty of thug kids doing who knows what because their parents don't bother to watch them. <P>
I will never live there agin, I moved about 1 week ago and it was the best thing I ever did. <P>
PS, there were about 15 other reviews on this same dump of an apt and it is interesting that they are not there anymore. Guess Sawyer doesn't like telling people the truth. <P>
