Apartment Reviews for Rollins Ridge - Rockville

This is the most bare bones of apartments. With apartments in the area offering things from community business workstations, movie theatre, gyms, pool, rentable party rooms, and free coffee. If you like these types of amenities and willing to pay for them then don't come here.
The amenities are some of the weakest in the area. All they have is a gym which is one of the smallest in the areas. There is supposed to be a disinfectent wipes dispenser that has not been filled since the 3rd week of opening.
Parking was/is a disaster. They are overcharging for spaces and there aren't enough of them. At one point due to some construction issues the garage roof was leaking an odd cement/gravel mix that had to repaired and closed one section of the garage for several months.
Conceirge...forget about it! The staff are barely there anyways. Don't even have any packages sent to the apartment they aren't there to receive them. Just send them to your office.
Construction! At one point there was a new restaurant/carry-out being opened on the bottom floor, so they had to build an exhaust vent through 4 stories on the balconies. It looked awful and you could tell that the occupants could not even use their balconies for 3 months and it seems they lost living space as well.
To add insult to injury...they have recently taken away the free coffee. I know that a lot of poeple benefited and used that in the morning on their way to the office.
One bright spot: The maintenance crew are phenomenal people. They do their best even with the little they have.
The units themselves are good, but the venting is bad, I can hear other people through the bathroom vents. Which means that there is no privacy.
Bottom line...if you are on a very fixed living budget then come here. But if you like most folks in this area can afford a little more...then don't bother coming here. You will be wasting your hard earned money.
