Apartment Reviews for Security Park - Windsor Mill

I recently moved into a two bedroom upgraded apartment here, and it's a gorgeous community! I'm living in the leasing center building, so aside from the rental staff's heels on the floors above us during the day, it's a very peaceful place. I'm paying $775 for an apartment with no patio/balcony, and from what I've seen, it's a very good deal. The kitchen is huge (with built-in microwave and new oak cabinets), and there's more closet space than you'll ever need. For the most part, the leasing center staff are very kind, and seem to care about their tenants alot more than my previous residence (Gwynn Oaks Landing). Our toilet was leaking when we moved in, and within 2 hours of reporting it Monday morning, they had it fixed. My best friend moved into an apartment here 2 weeks before me, and she said maintenance fixed everything on her move-in checklist within 2 days of turning it in. <P>
I have 3 minor complaints as of right now: 1. I wish we either didn't have to pay to use the laundry facilites ($1.75 a load for each machine), or had a washer/dryer in the unit. 2. We have to mail our rent in to corporate offices... and if they don't receive it by the 1st (Postmarked by the 1st doesn't count), you get a 5% penalty. It's not a huge deal, but slightly inconvenient. 3. My refrigerator is old... While there's nothing physically wrong with it, it's kind of small. I stand at 5'5, and the top of the fridge is just barely above eye level for me. I share this apartment with my boyfriend, and a mutual friend of ours, so we have 3 grown adults sharing this tiny fridge. I plan to ask management if I can get it replaced with a newer, bigger one (my friend has a brand new, taller one in her apartment, and she pays the same rent as me). <P>
Like I said, I love this apartment. If you're willing to deal with a few minor inconveniences, it's a great deal. <P>
