Although James Court Apartments' management has been difficult to work with at times, the amenities and apartments themselves are well kept, and the A/C and heating have never been problems. Reviews written by tenants have said that the staff is nice and residents rarely have troubles, although some may find it pricey. Close to the complex is a salon called Revive Hair Studio, a grocery called South End Formaggio, and a bar called Toro. Boston Medical Center is nearby and so is the subway station.
