Review for The Copley Group Apartments

The Copley Group was a nightmare the moment I moved in. Besides a loud neighbor who was mentally unstable and had me up at all hours of the night as she screamed at no one. I, along with other neighbors had to call the police to get her to close her door in stop taunting us as we tried to leave our apartment. Then BED BUGS came once she moved out. I was infested for over a month before i knew what the bugs were. They left me with over 45 welts on my body on four seperate occassions. The maintenance people dismissed my problems as allergies and I had to locate the bugs and force them to see that they were bed bugs. They fumigated once, but did not follow the original 6 week fumigation process recommended by the exterminator. Per doctor's recommendations I had to stay elsewhere. Upon returning and finding more live bugs, eventually I had to move out and hire a lawyer. Copley would not let me out of my lease, not simply let me forego paying rent the nights I could not sleep there nor reimburse me for my bed that had to be thrown out. They are a rich, large corporation and took advantage of me as a student with no resources. I am now crashing with a friend and no longer have a bed or nightstand when I finally am able to afford a place a new rental. Which will be a while, since they took my January rent (even though I was unable to live there per doctor's orders) and my security deposit (which I had to give in order to just be free from my lease). This was the worst place I have ever lived and I have lived in many places. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are what is wrong with big corporations.
