I couldn't agree with the post on 10/15/08 more. The only edit I've got is that we live at the "Ghetto"...small spelling error, no biggie.

This place did have good potential when my wife and I first moved in. Its highly unfortunate that the conditions of my building have deteriorated since we moved in. There is a consistent stench in the hallways that is a mixture of people's bad cooking, the management not caring one bit about you once you've signed the lease, and incompetence.

This management company is apparently not interested in retaining people for more than a year. They will raise the rent on you. Period. What the management company doesn't get is that we're in some tough times at the moment. People can't afford (and don't want to pay for) an overpriced apartment.

Snow removal is a huge issue here as well. The company that is hired to deal with it is terrible. They were trying to plow the entire parking lot with a Bobcat last night. Now I like playing around with a Bobcat as much as the next guy, they're very fun. However this is a job for a snow plow. In addition if they wanted to still play with the Bobcat, they could at least clear out parking spaces that are not being used. Instead they're too busy piling all of the snow in the middle of where people normally would be driving causing dangerous conditions.

Then there's the whole Ghetto problem. This is a product of the equal housing law in Massachusetts and the Management Company, JPI. Last weekend there was an assault on the property and then the management decides to hand out a list of things to do to stay safe. Very Madden-esque in my opinion. I already lock my doors and windows. Thanks for the tip, Captain Obvious. This place clearly goes above and beyond the fair housing quota too and it is a flat outrage because that increases my rent to cover for it. I work damn hard for my money and it drives me insane that people are allowed to live here for cents on the dollar. The management company should simply meet the ridiculous quota and not one apartment more. This would keep the rent down as much as they can keep it.

Continuing on the paragraph above...people don't pick up their dog shit. There are also some disgusting people who live here who make me want to puke when I go out to work in the morning and they look like they just came out from under a nuclear fallout shelter.

Look elsewhere. You can get much more value for your money than this place offers. There is no way in hell I'd renew my lease here. I wouldn't even live here again for free.

Same here... just on a side note, the management here lied to me about covering the water bill. When I asked if water is included the response was "yes we pay for hot water". One would think that the water is paid for by the landlord but nope... think again
