Review for Jefferson At Dedham Station Apartments

Keep away from this place. It is a joke and embarrasing place to bring friends and family. Take a look at the dates and the context of the "five star reviews". I have no doubt it is management. Know why - they are defending their embarrasing management skills and always put problems back in the hands of residents (i.e.) I have gone to them on four occasions in 2009 citing the smell of pot in the apartment next door - their answer? confront the Section 8 tennant myself! Unbelieveable. This in a place where if you read teh Dedham Times is probably the number one crime spot in Dedham. Thanks a lot management for letting in all the Section 8 tennants.

It's been stated in the other reviews also but the Section 8 situation is embarrassing. I am really angry about having to subsidize so many other tenants’ rents. It seems more and more are being let in brining with it the usually drawbacks - garbage on the corridors, loud music when you are trying to go to sleep; their "extended families" at the pool. Management has taken in too many Section 8 tenants. Even the local school system has raised concerns about the burden this place is having on their fragile system. Just Google Section 8, JPI and Dedham schools and you will see what I mean.



I don't normally write negative reviews but feel this is in the public interest. Why should you pay $24,000 a year for a place when you get for half that elsewhere?



My advice - their are plenty of better apartments elsewhere in the same area. Don't move into a place to subsidize the rent of others.
