Review for Windsor Village Apartments

Windsor Village wasn't bad. I lived there from 2001-2002, and in a lot of ways it was a decent complex. It was safe, the landscaping was nice, the shuttle to Alewife was convenient, and the apartment was a good size. Many people complain about the parking here, but I never found it to be a problem. Worst case, I'd have to walk a little bit - no big deal. I always did find a spot. I never saw any bugs in my apartment. Management was not always competent, but they were friendly.

However, the rent here was high. Very high. And construction was shoddy - paper thin walls, warped floors, you name it. Definitely not a good value - if I'm going to pay a lot for rent, I either want a super convenient location, or a really nice building. Windsor had neither: just a pretty convenient location and a pretty cummy building. You could do better.
