Review for Sparrow Wood Apartments

Sparrowwood looks lovely, the apartments have a nice set up. Small community is appealing. FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE DECEIVING! Check out the Michigan Sex Offenders Registry---your neighbors are on it if you live here. We couldn't live in our apartment the first several days due to a gas leak. And that was just a start---the downstairs neighbors had 4-6-8 people living there. They cooked something that smelled like nothing we've EVER encountered in a dozen years of renting. They were noisy--sounded they they beat their kids. They argued at all times of the night and the foul language !@#$%^&* was heard through the thin walls. The quality of the building is marginal, at best. The windows froze, they leaked and we had mold in both bedrooms along the window wells. The police came to our door within the first two weeks looking for the previous resident !!!)---who know what HE did! People parked in our carport like it was their own. When our lease ended they didn't even allow us the option of staying (like we would have---NOT) they just said they had chosen not to renew our lease. Probably because we complained and because we were law abiding, quality citizens and didn't fit in. Seriously folks---DO not live at Sparrowwood no matter how appealing it appears at first----you are giving your life over to people who simply do not care about you, your safety or quality of life. Do not move into this drug infested community where the outside lighting is not a priority---can't tell you how many time we had to tell them it didn't work-. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE THIS PLEASE CALL THE PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE WASHTENAW COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND ASK FOR THE STATISTICS.
