Review Title:   A Great, Quiet Place With Only Minor Issues
Reviewer:   Anonymous
Review Date:   11/11/2006

I have read some of the other reviews, and I had to respond. We have been here for three months now, and we are extremely happy. On the issue of noise, of course there is some, we do hear our neighbor upstairs, but that is just unavoidable in apartment living. We have a condo in another state, and paid premium price for it, but it is still the same: the noise is always there. We do not, however, hear anyone talking on the phone, the only thing we hear are the heavy steps of the neighbor upstairs. We never hear ANY other noise, ever, and sometimes we think we live in the countryside, it is so quiet. The utilities are high here, and that is the only serious minus as far as I am concerned. But we have a ground-level apartment, and it is not that bad. Our windows and sliding doors are sealed well, there is no draft whatsoever. There are different building configurations here, and some of them do have a partially underground level, but I would never rent there. We picked the location and the apartment we liked, and our unit is great. We have a private patio that we spent a lot of time on. The washer and dryer in the unit are priceless. We also rented a storage unit for only $20 a month which is located directly in front of our door, so it is almost like having an extra pantry. There is adequate amount of storage in the apartment, but it never seems to be quite enough, especially if you move from a house. The maintenance could be a little better as far as the exterior of the building, but all our interior issues were addressed. Maybe the management doesn't get it perfectly the first time around, but they do try to accomodate you, and we are generally happy with them. I have found abundant parking at all times in front of our building. I don't know what the other tenants are complaining about, I never had a problem with parking, even when I have a lot of people over. Let's talk about the amenities: is it possible that he hot tub is so important for someone to get so angry about it? I have personally not used it, but I know that the indoor pool is empty most of the time, while the outdoor pool was empty every time I drove by it. I do use the gym regularly, and I am the only person in it most of the time. The "crapy 70's stuff" probably refers to the weight station, which really should be replaced. The cardio equipment is very good, though, professonal grade and in a very good condition. I do wish the club house could be rented for private parties, but, oh well. Overall, I do recommend this apartment complex. Our apartment is large, bright and well designed, with a split floor plan, and our experience here has been very positive.
