Apartment Review for Island Drive Apartments

There is no worse place than Island Drive. They will attempt to suck you out of every dollar you make. They are no doubt thieves. They never fix anything. There were break-ins in the storage area because they never had the front door to the building though I asked several times and of course i had things stolen. The pest problem is out of control. I killed at least a bug a day and on a day when I spent more than 6 hrs in the apartment (including sleep), I would probably run into two bugs. It smells like gas ALL THE TIME and you may develop cancer if you live here. Maintanence has no idea and just says "oh the pilot is on." They are so rude and so incompetant and when they took my security deposit and I was researching how to get it back as far as Michigan Law, they had no idea what any of the laws were. If I had more time, I would sue them but we are students, we dont have time for that! DO NOT LIVE HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT! <P>
