2 year resident, going on 3. ( over a year ago )

My wife picked this complex out of all the other ones we looked at. Lets first get the bad things out of the way. PARKING is a nightmare, especially on the weekends. I have never felt that the noise was too loud. During the week everything is nice and calm. On the weekends when the tenants have people over it gets louder, but not like a huge party scene. The condition of the apartments is fine. They are constantly staying on top of basic maintenance. Anytime I've had something break or go wrong and had to put in a maintenance request, its been fixed within 24 hrs. For the first year we used the in house basic cable, IT SUCKS. So we made the switch over to DirectTV. The maintenance guy came over to make sure everything was hooked up properly and everything, thought that was very professional of him. In the summer the grounds are well maintaned, the parking lot and walk ways are alway cleared in the winter. There is a community pool open to the residents. We've only used that a couple of times but its not too busy and always clean down there. I like how quite it is here, yet we're still very close to everything. I mean US 131 and M6 are maybe a mile east of us on 68th Street. Meijer, Target, Family Fair, K-Mart and every fast food joint know to man are also within a mile or two. My wife and I have referred our friends to move in here and just last week renewed our lease for an additional year. Overall I love this place, just good luck trying to find some parking when you come home late on a Friday or Saturday night. You might want to seriously concider one of those carpots. <P>

I would recommend this apartment for every one. The apartments are clean and new and the appliances are too. Office staff and maintenance people are very nice. Grounds are well kept and always litter free.

I lived there for 3 years. It was OK at best. Parking wasn't the greatest. My neighbors were dicks. The gay couple next to me was loud. Plus I could here all their gay conversations. Maintenance was good though. It was pretty peaceful unless you lived in the front buildings which were right by 68th street. The lakes were nice with the geese that lived there.
The apartments were kinda small though. They have private cable so I couldn't get cable modem. That's the main reason that I moved out. You're just a number at this place. They have hundreds of apartments there.
