Apartment Reviews for York Creek Apartments
Sub par.

In would like to start off saying that I have lived here on two separate occasions. Once back in 2007 with a couple of friends and currently with my girlfriend.
The first time I lived in this complex, it wasn't so bad. I would assume this would be because I partied a lot and was a little oblivious to neighbors and other loud noises. I wasn't home the majority of the time due to work and other various reasons.
Now that I am a bit older and have a better grasp on what is and is not acceptable, to be plain and simple; I absolutely despise living here. About the only thing that is reasonable would be the pricing, andn trust me; you definitely see where the cheap rent is reflected.
First off, the structure of the apartments is horrid. If it's not the half-assed plastic/wood cabinets and baseboards falling apart, it's the carpet getting blown out a week after moving in. All of the handrails leading up to the loft were burned by cigarettes from the previous tenant, there were still dents that obviously had a fail attempt at being fixed. The screen door was kicked out and bent back to fit back in the door, the paint on the walls is so cheap it can be removed by scotch tape. Now I could go on for an entire novel on why the simple things about then interior are terrible, but I think you catch the drift.
As for the neighborhood, I absolutely feel sorry for anybody that has grown up in here. I am by no means a small male, but I actually fear walking my dog or taking a walk around the complex with my girlfriend near night time. I would say 50% of the time that I am actually home I hear people's ridiculous car systems or people yelling about someone stealing they're welfare or food stamps. The area is full of completely disrespectful d-bags. Sure there are decent people that live here, but they are far and few.
I think the only decent thing about this place is the one leasing agent that I dealt with both times I have lived here.
Please take a test drive before being roped into the biggest mistake of your renting life.
