Apartment Review for Grand Lofts

I moved in last year and the place was nice. I admit I didn't look in all the nooks and crannies, but I loved (and still do) my actual unit, and at that point in time, maintenance still seemed to be happening on a regular basis. What a difference a few months make. Rather than spell out a dump it's become, take a look for yourself. Make an appt. The front office will treat you real nice because they are nice. But make sure to ask LOTS of questions - ask about the trash you see around, about the status of the parking lot, ask how many break-ins and pulled fire alarms there've been, ask how many machines in the laundry room actually work, and if you're really smart, talk to a few tenants. Why go through all this instead of skipping it altogether? Because it's not all bad. It's just going down. Lots of people are moving out. Maybe if they lose enough tenants, they'll take notice - though I doubt it. By the way, just know this is typical of Boydell, so beware. Grand Lofts is the best one they've got so you know if this one is starting to resemble the projects then the rest must be really bad!!
