Apartment Review for Apple Ridge Apartments

Ok they really don't want ONE person living in a one bedroom (which are tiny) and they fight it. They're NOT flexible at all with signing the lease. If you're going to be out of town shortly before your move in date DO NOT pick this apartment complex. They will not let you move in unless you can sign the lease in advance and do it WHEN THEY WANT YOU TO, even if you're on the top of this waiting list. My roommate was in Texas until the middle of August and they decided to drop us to the bottom of the waiting list instead of holding an apartment for us, or letting me take care of the paper work and having her added as soon as she arrived. I've dealt with other apartments that will hold an apartment for someone completely over the phone and internet as long as they pay. Then they can sign the lease the day they move in. Apple Ridge would NOT do this, instead they fight with you and threaten to drop you from their waiting list leaving you without an apartment. They do not make it clear that they are going to do this when you fill out the application. Then later they of course, say "we made it clear to you that you'd have to sign this in the middle of august or lose your chance." No, they didn't. I wouldn't live here unless you like a hassle or can bend to their every whim.
