This is the apartment staff as usual attempting to inflate their ****** ratings. As many times as the police are called out to Viewpointe and you smell marijuana in the hallways as you enter, it makes you wonder if the people that run that place are high all of the time as well.
Come to Viewpointe if you like cockroaches and notes under your door demanding payment of rent when you paid your rent early, an apartment manager who smells like a walking yeast infection (Lois) and hallways that are ridden with leaks that the complex likes to paint over. Oh by the way "Liz Beckman" AKA Katie and Lois in the leasing office, why don't you tell Earl to get his lazy behind out of the trailer park and shovel the parking lot every once in a while. Being 53 and almost slipping and falling every winter is no fun!
As soon as August rolls around- I'm off to the Breton Woods Retirement Community!

Moved in 6 months ago and love it! The building is older but it is nice and the neighbors are quiet and friendly I have gotten to know a lot of people in the elevators. I painted my apartment to my colors because they had the white walls so it is really my home now. Lois is the manager and she actually showed me the apartment when I came in she was very nice! I have gotten to know Katie in the office very well and she is great. The lady that cleans the halls is very nice too see helped my mom find me (she was lost in the building). Haven't had to use maintenance yet.
I plan to live here until I have to move out of Michigan (better job) and I am trying to get my Grandma to move here too.

The apartment manager, Lois is known for being a professional pain in the ***. She lies and threatens residents on a daily basis all b/c she filed for bankruptcy a few years ago. The upkeep of the building is horrible, there are rumors of roaches, flies, mice, etc. and Lois denies it. She also denied the fact that there were sex offenders living there but if you search on the Michigan Sex Offender website, you will find a few that live there. Steer clear of Viewpointe!!!
It's nice. It's old. Needs repairs, but a beautiful city view. Needs new appliances and carpet, but very secure.
