Review for Cowell Manor Apartments

The apartments are income-based so for alot of families it is a last resort(in my case). The current management is, shall we say, a bit uneducated, but they go through new managers every six months, which is understandable. It was my understanding that it was family housing and when I moved into my building with my two year old, there was no one in the building under 60! And I was put upstairs. Which was a disaster with children. Basically they let the older tenents run the place, probably because the managers never know what they are doing, and it results in almost physical fights with them sometimes! These old people take their parking and laundry room seriously! Not to mention everyone there wil know everything you do and when you do it!
As far as the apartment itself goes, they are slapped together with dry wall and cheap carpet and the everything was always falling off the walls like the towel racks ect.
But worst of all it took three months and three phone calls to get my deposit back! And then the only deduction was from the electric company because they charged me from the time I had the electric shut off to the time the worthless manager got off his butt and went and got the keys from the apartment(a month after I moved out!). Like I said, dont live here unless your desperate, because this place was a nightmare and we went so far as lie to get out of our lease because we would rather havee lived in a car!
