Review for Oakbrooke Apartments

I was reading the other reviews and this apartment complex is very nice and I feel it is getting a bad rap here. I live on the first floor and I do occasionally hear my upstairs neighbor, but that's how it is in any apartment. The walls are not paper-thin, like most other places. I agree, there is limited parking but you do have two guaranteed spots right in front of your apartment. Children do ride their bikes and play I the parking areas because there is no playground or play area provided by the complex. As in any apartment complex or subdivision, drivers need to maintain 15 mph or less to watch out for little ones. Ive lived here for nine months and I will be renewing my lease until I buy my own house.

Maintenance is great! My furnace broke in the middle of the night in the dead of winter. I called the 24 hour number and the maintenance man came over in a half an hour. He had my furnace fixed by 4:30 in the morning. He went above and beyond by using a part from his own furnace to fix mine because they didn't have that part in stock in the office! His response to this was that the tenants always come first.

The management is always nice and friendly when I walk in the door. They treat you like their friend. Maybe in the past they have had problems with rude employees, but the management that is there now is great.
