Review for Oakland Mall Apts Apartments

I moved into Oakland Mall Apartments last Feb. 05. The first building me moved in (right by the rental office) had roaches. We didnt see them until 2 weeks after moving in. We contacted the office and they said they cant have the exterminators come out for 3 weeks. So we waited and actually had to sleep in a hotel until they came. The same day the exterminators came to our building we went home and saw even more roaches. So of course we complained and they offered us another apartment (FINALLY) in a different building. We moved in there right away. It was horrible!!!!! We had very noisy people directly underneath us. They had 5 kids all staying in that one apartment. They would make their kids go into the hallway and play so they wouldnt have to hear the noise inside. The kids would come upstairs and play all day draw all over the walls AND spread chocolate all over the walls up there. So we called and complained several times but nothing was ever done!! The hallways are NEVER cleaned and they always smell like fish! I would never recommend these apartments to anyone! If you are looking for a apartment do not make this one of your choices you will really regret it!!! The apartments are horrible and the staff is horrible! The people that wrote the reviews on these apartments and said that they were the best are probably the staff trying to make the apartments look good DONT FALL FOR IT!!!!
