This is my second time living here. The first time i lived here it was not kept in such good condition. Then the second owners who own it now have fix it up some. The apartments are older but they are nice. The bathrooms are not the greatest but there okay. The carpets seem older as well, there is a BIG stain in the middle of mine. The windows are not the best so if you run your air conditioning or the heat they leak. You do pay everything here, the only thing that is free is the trash removal, dumpsters. The pool is nice but almost always full of people, i swam in it once since we moved in about a month ago. The office staff is nice, but if you get a package up at the front do not expect them to call you cause they wont even though they are supposed to. The woods are nice but do have some trash in them. This is also on a wetland so expect the mosquito's to be unlivable! They do not spray or anything for them either they just make you deal with it. There are not really dog friendly, they claim to be but it is a pain in the butt to get your dog in here. I have yet to have a problem where i had to call maintenance. If something goes wrong, like you forget to pick up your dogs poop once or if the company excellently gets your DTE bill they charge you $50 for everything even if it is a mistake. The neighbors seem to be a lot of younger people or people who are retired and can not afford a house. Parking is never a problem. You also have no choice but to get renters insurance, they make you get it to live here. It is pretty quite living here. Of course the town is nice and Monroe is not that far away. If i did have a choice i probably would choose some where different. But it is not that bad if you just need a place to live for a short period of time.
