Apartment Reviews for F Scott Company - Ypsilanti

My fiance and I have lived at the Depot Town F.Scott property for 3 years. We fell in love with the huge windows and 10 foot high ceilings. The location was a 10 minute walk from Eastern's campus, and right in the heart of historic depot town. Depot Town has several great bars (Aubrey's & Sidetracks), and during the summer the adjacent Frog Island Park holds weekly free jazz concerts, along with a slew of festivals (Elvis Fest anyone?) There are classic car shows right in front of the building every week of the summer. My experience with the staff has been different from other reviewers. Michelle and Stephanie were very friendly to us & we never had any problem getting maintenance to come over and fix things. Being a historic building (almost 200 yrs old!) the units certainly show their age, but I feel the flaws are worth the fabulous windows and spacious feel of the lofty ceilings. You won't get that in a newer apartment building. Sure, we've had some mix-ups with management, but that comes with the territory of renting. We loved our apartment, and spent much time fixing it up (something else you cant do in newer apartments!) and we're gonna miss it!
