I have lived in some pretty awful apartment complexes over the years and Heritage Heights is definitely not one of them! My apartment was clean and in great repair when I moved in. Since moving in we have had a few minor problems ( garbage disposal burning out, shower handle being loose) and they were all fixed within hours! The grounds are beautifully maintained, the grass is green and I see lawn crews coming by to care for the property frequently. The office managers walk around and pick up trash if they see any. The lot is clean and always gets plowed in a very timely manner with plenty of notice given for moving your cars. They even buzz your room before towing you if you forgot to move your car! The office staff ACTUALLY cares about their tenants. They know you by name, are friendly and wave when they see you on the property, and tend to any concerns you have right away. The building I live in is quiet, kids aren't running around screaming and there are no loud parties ever (there is a strict policy for noise here). I really like it here, and I feel valued as a tenant. I would recommend Heritage Heights to anyone I knew seeking housing!
I didn't have the greatest experience when I moved in.. But I have grown to love these apartments. When I first moved in, it wasn't very clean like I was told it would be. The dishwasher was falling out of the wall (wasn't screwed in or something) and we had a leak overnight which seriously ruined our carpet. We had it cleaned once, and it didn't really do anything. Had it cleaned again, and it was okay. I personally think the carpet in our apartment is gross and should just be replaced because of how old it is..
But that's part of apartment living. Our managers are great - very understanding if you can't pay rent on time (obviously you have to pay a late fee) the lawn is always looking great during the spring and I agree with the fact that it is NOT 50 degrees during the winter.. I live in the first floor of our apartment with no patio or anything and it is HOT. We leave the windows open when we sleep.
Anyways - overall a great place to live. It's not going to be 100% perfect but if you need something fixed, they'll fix it quickly. I have recommended Heritage Heights to all my friends looking for a place to live.

This apartment complex is a great place to live. I've never had any issues with the office staff. In fact, the one time I had an issue with my apartment my toilet broke. I called them before their office opened and left a message (7:00am) and when I got home from work (3:00pm) the toilet had been fixed.
Each year I renew my lease they clean the carpets free of charge. The outside is always looking nice and kept clean. The staff makes sure you have what you need.
They are also very forgiving on the payments. Rent is due the 1st of the month, but they give you until the 3rd of the month before any late fees are assessed.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone.
P.S. To the other reviewer that said their apartment was only 50 degrees... I lived on the 2nd floor for a year and actually had to open windows in the middle of winter it was so hot. Living on the 1st floor is a little better but I can turn the heat up a little and it's a comfortable 70 inside. I don't know what they're talking about.
