Apartment Review for Northtown Crossings Townhomes

So when we moved in everything seemed to be going well, it is in a noisy neighborhood but the townhouses are well insulated. But when we left they charged us 2500 dollars beyond the security deposit because they claimed there was pet urine that showed up by black light. News flash but a lot of stuff shows up by black light including cleaning supplies I used on the carpet as well as club soda that I used to clean up when I spilled coffee. And there nothing you can legally do because if you have a pet you sign an addendum to the lease that says there is no limit to liability. They are pretty much updating the carpet on our dime and blaming it on our pets. Also the complex itself is only seven years old and when you first visit it all the appliances look nice but they are cheap. Our microwave just stopped working the last month we were there and in that whole time they said they had to order a new one so we went weeks without one till we moved. And we would come home and our garage door would be open, this went on for almost a month and they would come by and change the frequency on the garage door openers hoping that would fix the problem but the guy who came to fix it said they were getting old and they had to buy new ones but they never did, so for a least a month we would come home and our garage door would be open. Overall if you don't have pets it should be fine. One good note is the landlady who runs everything is very professional and friendly.
