Apartment Review for Northtown Crossings Townhomes

They are pleasant at first to get you in the door. Everything from there is anything but extraordinary. We had constant problems with our garage door opening by itself while we were at work. We had a leak coming directly from the light fixture in the ceiling (twice) they were less than agreeable to act imediately on. We had a continuous problem with the dryer overheating and burning our clothes. We were basically pushed out of our house over half a month before our lease was up. We were told utility responsibility switches to landlord default when the tenant moves out but yet were charged these expense through the end of the month. We spent approximately 2 full days deep cleaning the house for our move out and were told during the walk through inspection that it was near spotless and we should expect a full deposit reimbursement. We were charged $145 in DAMAGES for them to PAINT the nearly flawless walls (after close to 3 years of occupancy) upon turning it over to the next tenant. We have been renters for years and have never lost a deposit to paiting or had the troubles we did obtaining necessary repairs. We work hard to be model tenants and have never been taken advantage of or treated as unprofessionally as we were here.
