Review for Grand Pre East Apartments

Yeah, we were going to sign the lease agreement when they decided to cash in our deposit check and didn't tell us!!!! The lady said she would hold of on the deposit check UNTIL we signed the lease agreement. Me and my wife was very excited to move in so we decided to do a lot of shopping here and there. Turns out that most of our money is going to our savings account so we didn't have enough for that deposit check. Our bank charged us for going over 2 times, thats $68. I told the management that we verbally agreed with the lady that showed us the apartment that the deposit check would not be cashed until we sign the lease agreement. If anything they should give us credit towards the first months rent but she did not agree. So they walk away with $45, I am down $68 + that $45 but I am sure glad I ended up telling them I wasn't going to rent from people who like to lie the first time I meet them!!!!

ALSO!!!! That lady that told us she would hold the check off until the signing of the lease agreement is NEW!!!!! HORRIBLE LIAR!!!!! If you like to be lied to, go ahead and move in!!!!!
