JAS Apartments is horrible! Their apartments are gross, their leasing agents lie, and they "lose" rent checks and charge late fees. My apartment has water stains on the ceiling and there are roaches everywhere in the building. I have to get rid of all my furniture because they have bed bugs. They turn the heat on in January and turn it off in June. The people in the apartment below me were selling crack, the people above me played loud rap music until 3AM. Police records are public -- I highly suggest going to City Hall and requesting a list of all incidents at their addresses! There's no water pressure, and the water is way too cold in the shower. The floors are beat up, the bathroom is unsanitary, and fruit flies are IN THE DRAINS. The Property Manager, Angela Conte, is a bitch and doesn't care about anything but her paycheck. The owner, Steve Frenz, is a jerk. All this, and they keep raising the rent. STAY AWAY FROM JAS APARTMENTS!
