Review for Oak Grove Towers Apartments

I was wrongly deprived of $920.00 (a month's rent) by the dishonesty (or if you prefer, incompetence) and rigidity of Oak Grove Towers' manager, Brian Immerman, and his staff.

I am unable to take legal action against Oak Grove Towers and their management firm, Sentinel Management Company, because the particular lease-termination process that caught me unawares and that I am now paying for having failed to follow is in fact spelled out in my lease contract. But I implore others: Do not take up residence in Oak Grove Towers unless you're comfortable with the idea of reading and re-reading your lease contract each and every time you need to deal with the apartment's managers.

I have my own case to cite in support of this exhortation, and I can cite other cases as well. In one such case, I can tell you about Mr. Immerman's attempt to intimidate a resident from taking legal action against Oak Grove Towers by making a groundless legal charge (specifically, Mr. Immerman charged that the resident would have a poor legal case against Oak Grove Towers because Immerman, when in court, would have to tell the judge that the resident refused to negotiate with him over the disputed matter, and that, according to Immerman, would make the resident look bad before the judge. Friends, negotiations are not admissible evidence in a courtroom.)

In the interest of brevity, I won't relate the full details of my story (contact me if you wish to hear them). But I'll inform you that I am obligated to pay Oak Grove Towers $920.00 because I relied on incorrect information provided to me by the apartment's secretary, and that Oak Grove Towers and Sentinel Management know I detrimentally relied on information provided to me by one of their agents, and don't care.
