All bad reviews online are with the old management. Office people are friendly and like to chat, always ask how you are, and know most by name. Maintenance was required when I moved in, but they fixed everything within a very timely fashion. I was lucky and was able to get new carpeting in my place, and they spray the whole building for bugs twice a year and each time someone moves out. I haven't even found a single little house spider. Exercise room is great, though more machines would be helpful. Phone-controlled access lets people in with your number if you have a local area code. Electricity is about $20 a month for me. The doors are almost non existent though, you can hear right through them; only downside of the whole building. Location is great!

I moved in in Feb. 2010. Staff was welcoming. Maintance issues were fixed with in 24 hours. Some needed updates have been done, the new carpet in the halls is a plus, but should have hired a professional with taste ....It is a safe place to live, close to everything. If you have a car, opt for the $95.00 per month underground parking, its a godsent. The floor i was on was very peaceful, sometimes felt like i wasliving in the building by myself. Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves and a bit shy..or is it stuck up city people? who know OVERALL , I give Park Terrace a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The maint. people are great..very helpful. And the office manager is gr8

So I was deciding to look around at other places to live but when I stumbled onto this website I found it quite helpful, especially when I want to stay in the same area. I was a little shocked to read the reviews that other people had posted about Park Terrace; I've lived here for ten years (in 3 different apartments) and not once experienced the "so called problems" the others are writing about. It has been my experience that persons who have either been evicted or reported to the office are the ones who are bitter. <P>
I've developed great friends and neighbors in my home at Park Terrace. Maintenance is always handled immediately. Noise? This building is solid concrete (floors, walls, ceilings) how can you hear anything.... The office always has someone in there (8:30-10pm) and they are the most courteous and friendly of people. The Concierge serivce is a great perk (and he's really nice)...He'll get you tickets, take care of your cat, water your plants, grocery delivery, dry-cleaning, and on, on--- there is even a FREE Breakfast once a month for everyone! The building has a Dunn Bros coffee shop (my personal grocery shop). It is even directly on the bus line. I don't own a car so I really don't care about parking but I can get parking permits from the office for my guests. <P>
Ok.... So now that I have vented my frustration or I should say defended my home.... i think I will need to stay here for another ten years. I'm proud of where I live and my friends and my neighbors. Obviously someone had a grudge and doesn't know what quality they had.... This is not the place to try and get even.... You get people like me who are offended by the attack.... I love my home....
