Review for Park Place/Equity Residential Apartments

I have lived here over a year now, when I first moved here the property itself and other residents were decent. I was not happy with my apartment, there was a large bleach stain they manager told me to put a dresser over it, I had buggers on the walls, my cabinets had no shelfs in them, writing and drawing on the back of my closet doors and so much more. So life goes on, and it never got fixed. The maintenance here doesnt know what they are doing, they replaced my dishwasher and didnt bolt it into the counter so when I opened it, it fell out. My central AC has been broken for over a year, and they kept saying nothing was wrong with it. There are bugs in the building. Your vehicle is not safe in what is suppose to be a "Controlled Access" garage. Also, there is no parking outside ever! and you cannot park on the streets. When I moved in they told me that had 2 outside pools, 4 tennis courts, hot tub, sauna, work out room, and tanning bed. What they do not tell you is, you may not have a work out room in your building and will have to go to another one, they dont tell you that the sauna doesnt work, and that the hot tub hasnt had water in it for some time now. Atleast a year and half since I have moved in, so probably longer. They are always in your business, there is not a day when you can go home and relax without being bothered. They constantly send notes to your apartment about the stupidest things. I got a note because I put a PIZZA BOX down the trash chute and it could have caused a back up!! They even copied the label on the box and attached it to the letter!! The management there has their heads so far up their asses, its CRAZY! I could go on and on, The best thing I can reccomend to you, DONT MOVE HERE!
