Review for Vicksburg Village Apartments

I lived at Vicksburg Village apartments for 2 years. My time there was not horrible as a whole, but there are many things they could work on.

My w+d was broken and not fixed properly for most of the time I lived there. It even stained some of my very nice work clothes! They'd always claim they fixed it, but I don't think they even tested to see if it worked before walking out of my apartment. Very frustrating.

Also, unless you have a garage, or no job, do not expect to come home from work and find a parking space. You will often times have to park in the overflow lot and walk around the building.

When I left the apartment, I KNEW I would be paying for damages. I assumed they'd probably take 2-300 out of my 500 deposit. Instead they took my deposit and billed me for about $600!!! They made claims that they could not even prove, and there was no way I could pay that much money.

When I was not able to pay, they had someone from Pinnacle Realty (management company) call my parents house (I guess they had the # on file, No idea why- may have looked it up in the white pages). If all they did was make a simple polite phone call that would be fine, and I would absolutely understand. However, they had a man call as early as 5 -6 am. When my mother finally answered, he began to threaten her. Whens he told him I no longer lived in MN he made a comment about how he was going to "WAKE [her] ASS UP AT 5 AM TOMORROW". Yes. He really said that.

After letters sent to the management company HQ and the attorney general, he has not called since. This is a property/company that does not have very good morals or ethics. I suggest going with Parkers Lake Apartments, Shadowhill Estates, or Coachman Trails.

They are awful. DO NOT LIVE AT VICKSBURG!!! Horrible staff!
