Apartment Review for Avalon Cove

Don't usually write these but I was really disappointed about my experience. I'm a good quiet renter and have gotten my entire deposit back plus interest (minus carpet shampooing) every other place I'ved lived. The townhouses look nice from the outside and at first glance, but they were quickly and cheaply built. You get the feeling it might blow over in a wind storm or high wind. Not very sound proof with neighbors either, could hear mine snoring. Very poor insulation so utilities are high. Had a rather large bug problem when I first moved in, finding several large crickets and other large bugs wandering around downstairs on a daily basis and it took the entire summer for them to remedy the problem. They did keep coming back to spray but in excess of what the chemical manufacturers recommended. I finally brought in a bag of dead bugs I'd killed myself over the course of a week and they finally agreed to fill in cracks in the grout on the tile floor between the baseboards and trim. Problem solved. My family and I spent two days hands and knees scrubbing the place from top to bottom and they took out a sizeable chunk of money for cleaning and other bogus charges. Also don't put a satellite dish on the property even with their approval on one of their special blocks, it will cost you.
