I must admit that you can't please all of the people some of the time.
I have lived at this complex for 4 years. In regards to packages being delivered. Did you know that most complexes won't even take your packages??
It is up to the individual. At this complex it has been provided as a courtesy to the tenants. I have a business out of my home, and my packages are delivered on a daily basis. It is up to me to retrieve them. And I sure as heck wouldn't have waited 10 days to try and find out what happened to a delivery. The management has been very accommodating, even after hours I have called and they made sure I could receive it. I have always been treated with respect and management has ALWAYS been professional on every level. I have also seen management in the early hours of a given day in the office just to accommodate someone's needs as well as staying very late. I can say this because of my hours for my business. I am not sure what planet you are living on, but I have had so far a great experience living here and I have shared this with numerous friends, and even business associates. In fact one individual has become a resident. So the best of luck to your new venture. You will need it.

I have lived in this apartment complex for over 15 years, and since then alot of changes have been made. The best thing that could of ever happened is when we received a new manager. She has turned this place into something to be proud of. She came here in 2004 and she knows her stuff. you can actually feel safe here, it has become well managed. She runs a tight ship. She is also very caring, but she is genuinely fair to everyone.... we have been very happy to have her. There have been updates, and yes that included the fitness center...and I am a very avid fitness guru so I know what I am talking about. I would recommend anyone to come here, you will love it just as much as I do, and will continue to do so.

This is a nice place to live. I have been living here for about a year or so. I feel that rent is a little over priced for the studios and 2 bedrooms. You could find a place that has lake view and more amenities for the same price. There are not any amenities besides the workout room, but most of the stuff that is in there does not work. When it comes to summer good luck finding a parking spot due to the people that rent out docks they take up most of the parking. That is even when the apartment complex isn’t at full occupancy. The staff is nice but when you have a maintenance problem you have to keep reminding them to get it done. There are a lot of older people that live here so it is really quite which is the nice thing about it.

Minnetonka Edgewater has come a long way from 2004 and earlier.. I take great pride in stating that the manager that we have now is very aware of the tenants and their needs. Our maintenance is very prompt in repairs. I agree that there are repairs to be made, but they too have been taken care of as well, and I can inform you of that. Bad comments are quick...and very hurtful...nothing is ever said about the good...the Christmas Dinner that is offered to the tenants in honor of them....or any of the other functions in honor of them.
I would recommend this complex to anyone that would like a quiet professional setting, with the beautiful views of Lake Minnetonka, the boatslips that are offered, the great fitness room, and truly a caring team of employees to make it a worry free and wonderful enviroment to live in.

Great lake views but central air went out 2 weeks ago and is still out. Said they were sorry but it has been stiffling on some days and they have not offered residents any compensation. Also there are some maintenance issues such as closet doors constantly coming off the tracks. Also leaky poorly kept windows and old crusty carpet in some rooms. The closet doors should be replaced as they are original from the 1960's <P>

Parking has not been a problem. If you live on a side that has a view, the view is great. Secured entry. Noise, you could usually hear a mouse ****, they all respect each other. <P>
Exterior window frames need a lot of work. I have not felt any drafts, but need sanded and painted or replaced. I noticed a problem with my apt. and it was taken care of 2 days after I reported. I have heard nothing but negative reviews about this building, however I have not been able to understand what they are talking about. <P>
Overall, this is a very nice place to live if you can get an apt. with a view, and the staff has done nothing negative in my mind. If you want to just chill out, and live with peace of mind and no noise next to you, this is the place to go. <P>
I thought that I would take time out of my day to write this, but thought that you might need to hear someone elses opinion, than the negative reviews. I do not work for this place, I just rent a 2 bedroom. I have had no problems. <P>
Maybe the other reviews just had their expections set higher than the pope for everything. Maybe they had a bad experiance with who knows what. Take my word, this is a pretty cool place to live. (Forrest Gump) "And that's all I have to say about that" <P>
