Apartment Reviews for Village Park Of Minnetonka - St Louis Park

my room mates and I have lived in the two bedroom apartment for 6 months now. At first we were all excited because the apartments are very spacious and there is a couple events every month in the club room, but shortly after moving in our apartment began having problems. Our gas oven doesn't light on its own, we have to light a burner in order for it to light. In the 6 months we've lived here our water has randomly shut off without warning in the middle of the day (three times), the fire alarms have gone off three times (once at 3am, midnight, and midday), and we've had a few leaks from our ceilings. It also takes several days for a service guy to finally arrive. We complained once but according to him its management that's the problem, they don't contact him right away when theres a problem. We also got a letter on our door saying we owed $300 in late fees for rent and we would be brought to court. When we brought this up to management they said to return another day and then when we returned they said it was an error and to not worry about it. Some friends that live in the same complex have also gotten the same letter.
These apartments are very nice and theres a strong community within but I won't be returning. The management here gives me a headache, they don't seem to have their act together.
